Summer Reading

Winter sucks and since it's March, I figure now it's time to start thinking about summer. Why not dream big and just skip over spring for now? This summer is going to be bringing a few books I'm pretty excited about. Like big summer movies - yay for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on July 13 :) - summer books are also big sellers (again with the Harry Potter).

The last Tales of the City book was published in 1989 and although I don't always get the San Fransisco in the 1970s pop culture references, I loved all the books. This summer will bring a favorite character back after all this time. Michael Tolliver Lives is set to be released June 1st and will tell the story of Michael at age 50.

My love for Jonathan Tropper has been well documented on this blog. This summer will see the release of How To Talk To A Widower on July 17. What I like most about Tropper's books is the humor and although this title doesn't sound like a laugh-a-minute, I'm sure it'll be great.

Anybody else looking forward to upcoming books? Feel free to share...
